MCP, scoped agents, and a connected narrative

MCP brings work to external agents; identity, granular permissions, and review retain their validation boundaries.

Agents enter the system

The MCP server lets compatible clients read and update projects and work items through the tools enabled for their scope.

Availability reviewed September 8, 2026: the current surface includes nine tools and four scopes. Access to other documents, artifacts, or applications requires specific integrations.

Permissions people can understand

Internal agent identity and roles remain in Alpha. Granular permissions and inheritance must be validated for the workspace and actual workflow. Gates are a Pilot and can include review in supported transitions when enabled.

From message to evidence

The narrative connects work, knowledge, intelligence, and control. The aim is to keep supported results related to their project and review decision. Available activity and execution data are in Preview; they do not establish universal coverage of actions or sources.
