Product8.0 IntakePreview

Requests in. Work items out.

Receive external requests, review their context, and turn them into structured work when the team decides.

Shared context Visible status Scoped MCP
Designed as a system

Each capability starts from the same work and retains recognizable references to its context. AI, permission, and activity coverage is stated by status.

03 core capabilities
A governed front door

A request is not work until it has context.

The BIKLABS Intake model captures what arrives from outside, preserves its origin, and separates a pending request from accepted work. Human acceptance is designed to create the work item and retain a reference to the request.

01Channel

Asking for help should not require another tool.

Account-free public forms remain under validation during Preview.

02Triage

Every entry receives a decision.

The team reviews the context and decides which requests enter the project.

03Source

The source stays visible.

The entry identifies whether it came from a form, email, or inside the app and links to the work item after acceptance.

From external input to governed work

Receive more. Interrupt less.

Intake separates the arrival of a request from its acceptance as work and makes the decision between them explicit.

BIKLABS / OPERATING MODEL04 STEPS
01

Receive

The form captures the need and its context.

02

Review

The team checks the title, description, and source.

03

Decide

The team accepts, rejects, or snoozes the request.

04

Follow

The accepted request shows its work-item link.

Visible demandA protected backlog

Each request retains its context, source, and a visible decision.

The inbox before the backlog

Three decisions turn noise into work.

Every request crosses a visible boundary. First it is captured properly, then classified, and only then turned into a commitment for the team.

  1. 8.101

Intake forms — no account required

    In validation

The Preview includes configurable fields and a public link so clients and stakeholders can submit requests without a BIKLABS account. We are validating the complete path into the project inbox.

    • Fields adapted to each request type
    • Public link with no mandatory signup
    • Origin and requester preserved
  2. 8.202

    Agent-assisted triage

    Pilot

We are validating an agent that proposes type, priority, labels, and owning team. The final decision and conversion to work remain visible to the team during the pilot.

    • Suggested type and impact
    • Proposed labels and owning team
    • Human acceptance before creating work
  3. 8.303

Accept and convert to a work item

    In validation

The flow under validation keeps the entry pending until a person accepts it. Its goal is to create the work item and expose its link from the original request without hiding the decision.

    • Explicit human acceptance
    • Work item created from the entry
    • Source and link visible after conversion
Explicit decisionReceiving does not mean accepting.

Acceptance creates work and keeps the link to the original request.

Frequently asked questions

The important details, plainly.

Direct answers about how this capability fits into the work system.

01Does the requester need an account?

Public forms are designed not to require an account and to ask only for the information the team needs. This path remains under validation during Preview.

02Does every request automatically become a task?

No. Intake keeps a clear boundary between receiving and accepting work. The team can review, snooze, reject, or convert the entry.

03What can an agent do during triage?

It can propose a type, priority, labels, and owning team based on the content and defined rules. Limits and gates determine which decisions need human review.

04What remains visible after acceptance?

The request retains its source and shows the link to the created work item. Conversation and response coverage depends on the enabled channel.
